The Lexus HS 250h, a small five-passenger sedan with front-wheel-drive and is Lexus first dedicated hybrid available in two trims: base and Premium. There are no equivalent models from luxury brands, thus the Lexus HS will compete with any other small, capable luxury car.
The Lexus HS 250h base model features a sunroof, 17-inch alloy wheels, keyless ignition/entry, heated outside mirrors, leather upholstery, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, power front seats
with eight-way driver and eight-way passenger, dual-zone automatic climate control, full power accessories, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel with audio controls and a 10-speaker audio system with six-disc CD changer, an auxiliary audio jack, satellite radio, an iPod/USB audio interface and Bluetooth connectivity for both phone and audio.
The Premium trim includes automatic wipers, 18-inch alloy wheels, auto-dimming exterior mirrors, driver memory settings, a power tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, heated and ventilated front seats, real-wood cabin accents and upgraded leather upholstery.
The interior of HS 250h shows the value materials for which Lexus is identified, and 1/3rd of the cabin and trunk are enclosed in ecological plastics, also identified as bio-plastic, which is said to generate 20 percent less carbon dioxide emissions than usual plastic in its manufacture and life cycle.
