The 2012 Chevrolet Suburban is available in two engine choices; 1500 model is available with a 5.3-liter V8 which turns out 320 hp and 335 lb-ft of torque and 2500 models is available with a 6.0-liter V8 engine which creates 352 horsepower and 382 pound feet of torque. A six-speed automatic transmission is available as standard. There is a choice of drive option both in 1500 and 2500 models; purchasers have a option to choose either rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive.
