The LT1 is equipped with a standard 2.9-liter, I4, 185-horsepower engine that achieves 18-mpg in the city and 26-mpg on the highway. The LT3 is equipped with a standard 5.3-liter, V8, 300-horsepower engine that achieves 15-mpg in the city and 21-mpg on the highway. A 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard on both trims.
