2011 Toyota Tundra Review
The 2011 Toyota Tundra is available in 2WD or 4WD and in three cab styles: Regular cab, Double Cab and CrewMax. The Tundra CrewMax 4X4 is a 4-door pickup with six passenger capacity and comes in five trims, choices from the Tundra Grade 4.6L to the Limited 5.7L FFV.

Base Tundra standard equipment incorporates 18-inch steel wheels, dual-zone air-conditioning, a damped tailgate, a tilt steering wheel and a four-speaker sound system with a CD player and an auxiliary audio jack. While the Double Cab puts in cruise control, keyless entry, full power accessories, intermittent windshield wipers, an eight-way adjustable driver seat and six speakers. The CrewMax achieves a vertical sliding rear window and a sliding/reclining rear seat.
The rear-drive regular and double cabs appear standard with a 4.0-liter V6 that turns out 270 hp and 278 lb-ft of torque. A five-speed automatic transmission is standard. Standard on CrewMax or 4WD models and optional on rear-drive regular and double cabs, is a 4.6-liter V8 that turns out 310 hp and 327 lb-ft of torque. A six-speed automatic is standard. A 5.7-liter V8 that turns out 381 hp and 401 lb-ft of torque is standard on the Limited and optional on all other Tundras. A six-speed automatic is standard.
The 2011 Tundra will get more than a few interior modernize that consist of suspending an ashtray as a standard feature and changing the cigarette lighter with a 12-volt power outlet. The headrests have been modifies with a new shape.
The base model gets a 4.0-liter V-6 engine with a dual VVT-i system with roller rockers and hydraulic lifters that can adjust both the ingestion and exhaust valves for superior performance and competence. Read the rest of this entry »
2010 Chevrolet Colorado Crew Cab 2WD LT1
The 2010 Chevrolet Colorado Crew Cab 2WD has three trims – LT1, LT2 and LT3. The 2010 Chevrolet Colorado Crew Cab 2WD is a 4-door, up to 6-passenger compact pickup. The LT1 is equipped with a standard 2.9-liter, I4, 185-horsepower engine that achieves 18-mpg in the city and 26-mpg on the highway. The LT3 is equipped with a standard 5.3-liter, V8, 300-horsepower engine that achieves 15-mpg in the city and 21-mpg on the highway. A 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard on both trims.
