The 2011 Hyundai Genesis is a 4-door, family sedan, which comes in two trims, the 3.8L and the 4.6L. Genesis is elegant styling sedan. The V-8 engine standard in the Genesis 4.6 achieves 10 horsepower to 385, and previous year’s optional Technology Package is now standard on the Genesis 4.6.
The Genesis 3.8L is outfitted with a standard 3.8-liter, V6, 290-horsepower engine that gets 18-mpg in the city and 27-mpg on the highway while the 4.6L is outfitted with a standard 4.6-liter, V8, 378-horsepower engine that gets 17-mpg in the city and 25-mpg on the highway. A 6-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard on both the 3.8L and the 4.6L trims. The Genesis is rear-wheel drive vehicle. Regular gas is suggested for the V-6, but premium is suggested for the V-8. The standard features of Genesis 4.6L are the navigation system, a 17-speaker surround sound audio system, adaptive high-intensity-discharge headlights and a backup camera. The safety features includes driver and passenger airbag, front and rear side head curtain airbags located in roof, passenger airbag cutoff sensor, front and rear electronic parking aid with camera and with ultrasonic sensors, automatic locking retractors, seat mounted second row side airbags and much more.
